Born in Bisbee, Arizona, and raised in Douglas, Mauro grew up inspired by a family deeply committed to both community and enterprise. His grandparents set the foundation: one grandmother was a teacher, the other owned a bakery, while both grandfathers were farmers, with one also working as a hunter and police officer and the other later opening a grocery store business. These diverse paths instilled a strong work ethic and a dedication to service.
